Between the years of 1999 and 2002, a group of Kings Cross residents interested in the literary and photographic arts came together to create CrossLines Online Literary Journal. What they had in common was their enthusiasm for the richly diverse lifestyle of Kings Cross. The CrossLines group includes Angelika Fremd, editor, who was working on a literary non-fiction book set at the Cross, Laura Jordan, a digital media artist who designed our journal, Roz Sharp, a photographer, who has been photographing Kings Cross residents for over a decade, Elizabeth Kelly, a travel writer for whom the Cross became another locale to write about, Emma Scott, a long-time resident of the Cross and the editor of the Kings Cross Newsletter, Stephen Nicholas whose work at the Wayside Chapel led him to join our team, Noeline Mitchell, who made an important contribution by collecting the writing of the 'streets, and Ruark Lewis, a visual artist/poet, whose interest in the city and its ambience and literary expression made a valuable contribution.

This print-out of four years of CrossLines is meant to serve as a documentation of the project.
