Projectroom is a Community Web Server, established in 1997 as a shared online studio space and message centre and has evolved with changes in internet technology.

We offer web hosting and support for online collaborations to members of our community.

The people past and present who use Projectroom are artists, community groups, creative small business and people in support of the arts.

Costs are shared amongst the active members with consideration for the costs and benefits of their membership (eg amount of traffic their site causes or other usage, vs their level of contribution to the profile of the site or amount of time spent providing support to other members).

Most members use the service free of charge, by providing support to other members on occasion. New members generally pay an annual fee until the balance is worked out.
